Job Title: Events co-ordinator

Salary: Up to £22K

Positions: 1

Hours: 40 per week, including some evenings and weekends

Contract: Perm, Fulltime

An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Touchstone Education for Events co-ordinator within our Events team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Co-ordinator who is looking to take the next step in their career within a rapidly growing company.

Main Duties:

· Assisting with the running of all events including handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all events run smoothly

· To network confidently with Delegates in different environments

· To source venues and suppliers for in house and out of house events

· Research venues, suppliers and contractors, negotiating prices where required

· To continually research and propose creative ideas to help our events stand out within the industry

· To help arrange creative celebration events and private dining

· Manage all pre-event planning, e.g. organising guest speakers and delegate packs

· Oversee set up and dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently

· Coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, and travel)

· To arrange and manage event communications before and after events

· To work closely to budgets, PO’s and invoices

· Ensure stage management and course materials are well stocked and maintained

· To manage day to day admin with our in house systems


· Experience and/or a passion in Hospitality or Events

· Networking and strong social skills

· Confident individual and a fast learner

· Ability to work quickly under pressure

· Strong personal organisation skills

· Confident with numbers and excel

· Willing to travel and manage events on own when needed

· Driving Licence and own vehicle

· Interest in Property

· Experience in customer service over the phone and in person
